The Sunday Post: For Good
Hi, friends, and welcome back to The Sunday Post. With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, Friends From Work will be taking the week off to celebrate, spend time with family, and maybe (just maybe) continue working on our MCU rewatches.
If you’re missing Kyle and Robby, go back and check out Robby’s fantastic interview with comics creator Ryan North, now on YouTube! I’ve been making my way through North’s current “Fantastic Four” run, and it is as good as advertised.
Christmas is just over 30 days away, and Black Friday sales are already popping up all over the internet. If you are looking for the perfect gift for the Marvel fans in your life, might I suggest our two retail partners, Homage and Panel Bound Comics? Use our exclusive Homage hyperlink to go straight to their Marvel collections. And PBC’s 50%-off Black Friday sale has already started- over 80 different books are available for half price. Robby previews one of those a little later in this week’s PBC Pick of the Week.
Now, for a final batch of pre-Turkey MCU news, over to…
THE WATERCOOLER
THIS WEEK IN THE MCU

Empire Magazine’s 2026 preview issue hit newsstands on Thursday and included previews of both Wonder Man and the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. Star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II discussed how Wonder Man is different from every other Marvel show that came before it.
“We’re doing something that’s fresh, and a bit tongue-in-cheek, a bit self-aware. The show is self-aware, without looking directly into the camera. There’ll be commentary about superhero fatigue and things like that, but to me, it’s just dressing. That’s not really the aim of the show. The focus of the show is about an actor’s journey. It’s about a journey of friendship.”

Producer Sana Amanat told Empire how season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again feels like a fresh start, further removed from the original Netflix series.
“The landscape was open, and that was so liberating. We were like, “We can do whatever we want. What does it mean for Fisk when he’s gotten everything he wants? When you give a person whose thirst cannot be quenched his most valued treasure, is it enough? Or does he squeeze his treasure too hard?”
Amanat also confirmed to Empire that Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle will not appear in season 2. But don’t worry, Bernthal can still be seen next year in his own Disney+ Special Presentation and in next summer’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Deadline broke some news last week, reporting that Sadie Sink has joined the cast of Avengers: Secret Wars, which is set to film in London in 2026. Sink will make her MCU debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day in an undisclosed role.
BEYOND THE MULTIVERSE
2026 is shaping up to be a huge year at the movies. And movie studios are wasting no time pushing out teaser trailers for next year’s blockbusters. Last week, it was Toy Story 5 and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. This week featured new trailers for The Devil Wears Prada 2, the live-action Moana, Project Hail Mary, and The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.
PANEL BOUND COMICS PICK OF THE WEEK
SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN
The PBC Black Friday sale started this week, which means you can currently find a bunch of great stuff for 50% off retail price — including a few different versions of “Something is Killing the Children”.
Tynion’s story about monsters that only children can see (and the secret order that hunts them) is what made him the biggest name in horror comics since Robert Kirkman. But I think it’s Werther Dell'Edera’s iconic character designs that made this book an instant classic. What began as a 5-issue miniseries is now approaching issue 50 — and publisher BOOM! has greenlit at least 50 more. With both a Blumhouse movie and an animated series in the works, it’s a great time to get caught up.
Get the first 20 issues in the Vol. 1 Omnibus, or (like me) you can start your deluxe hardcover collection with Book One!
RE
Thanks, Robby! That is all I have for this week. I hope everyone gets a chance to relax and enjoy the holiday, and I’ll be back here again next Sunday to fill you in on anything you missed.
