Hello, friends, and welcome back to The Sunday Post. Tonight, a light smattering of news about Spider-Man: Brand New Day and a new book coming out ahead of Avengers: Doomsday.

THIS WEEK IN THE MCU
According to reliable sources on the social media site formerly known as Twitter, the final runtime of Spider-Man: Brand New Day is two hours and 24 minutes.
On November 10th, Marvel Studios is publishing From Endgame to Doomsday: A Marvel Studios Visual Dictionary: Avengers, Allies, and Foes. The book is meant to help bridge the seven year gap between Avengers films by highlighting key characters, moments, easter eggs, and more from the Multiverse Saga. The synopsis reads:
This visual dictionary includes character profiles, locations, vehicles, weapons, and easter eggs for Marvel fans to pore over time and time again. Cataloguing the events that have transpired since Avengers: Endgame, this official guide showcases every exciting detail, from the original Avengers to the emerging powerhouse teams that they have inspired, such as the Thunderbolts and the Fantastic Four.
Sadie Sink was profiled by Nylon last week, and answered several questions about her secret role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
“I knew that Marvel was a big deal and had a big brand, especially Spider-Man. I know there’s a huge fan base, but it feels really big. I think these blockbuster movies are a whole different beast. It was interesting stepping into that space and being a little bit of an outsider in that way, but [Tom Holland] could not have been more welcoming, and just the whole crew in general. He was just so relaxed and open, and I felt very at ease.”
BEYOND THE MULTIVERSE
Supergirl continues to struggle at the box office, dropping nearly 75% in its second weekend domestically, and failing to earn even $10 million. There has been a weird discourse around this movie, and it deserves to be seen by more people. TRUE BELIEVERS RUMOR OF THE WEEK
Marvel Studios is back in Hall H in just 20 days, ready to bring down the house again just days before Spider-Man: Brand New Day comes to theaters. It is widely believed that the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will finally be released publicly on Saturday night during their panel. But what else can we expect? New casting announcements? An update on Avengers: Secret Wars or X-Men? Any new movie or television announcements? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Compendium Vol. 1
I am going wayyyyy back with this week’s recommendation, to the very first comics I ever read. “TMNT Adventures” were published by Archie Comics, and meant to capitalize on the success of the original animated series, which debuted in 1987. Originally designed as a comic miniseries, the main book ended up running for 72 issues.
Now, all those old comics that my mom threw away (thanks a lot, Mom!) have been reprinted in gorgeous hardcover compendiums and are available for purchase from our friends at Panel Bound Comics. The third compendium comes out in November, but you can order the first now, which covers 17 issues, plus six short stories.
